Charanya Gurusathya

A Bharatanatyam artist, teacher, choreographer and researcher, Charanya founded Natyashala to keep traditional training precise, expressive and deeply human.

  • 1Dual academic background with MBA and Masters in Fine Arts in Bharatanatyam; pursuing doctoral research in dance.
  • 2Delegate speaker at the International Dance Council General Assembly at UNESCO Headquarters, Paris, with workshops and performances across India, USA, France and Germany.
  • 3Published dance research including work on dance as a stress-busting practice, connecting classical art with wellbeing and education.
  • 4Guides students through rigorous learning, stage productions, arangetrams and the academy's annual ABHYASA Pradarshanam.
